Google Business Profile

ThinQr connects to your Google Business Profile so your Chief of Operations can read every review, draft a reply in your voice, track how customers are finding you, and publish Google Posts — all with your approval before anything is posted.

What you get

• AI-drafted review responses. Every new review arrives in ThinQr with a draft reply in your brand voice. You edit, approve, or reject — ThinQr only posts to Google after you click approve.
• Performance analytics. Profile views, calls, direction requests, website clicks, search queries, and photo performance. Historical comparisons, trend predictions, and connect-the-dots insights that tie metric changes to what happened in your business.
• Google Posts with one tap. Upload a photo and a short note — ThinQr drafts the Post copy. You approve, ThinQr publishes.

Permissions we request

When you click Connect Google Business Profile in Settings, Google asks you to grant one OAuth scope:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage

This scope lets ThinQr read your reviews, performance data, and posts, and publish replies and posts only with your explicit approval.

You see the same Google consent screen you see for any other app. You can revoke it at any time directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions or from Settings → Connected Accounts in ThinQr.

How to connect

1. Sign in to ThinQr
2. Open Settings → Connected Accounts
3. Click Connect Google Business Profile
4. Sign in to the Google account that owns or manages your Business Profile
5. Review the permission request and click Allow
6. Pick your business location (if you have more than one listed on Google)
7. You're connected — new reviews appear in ThinQr within 24 hours

How to disconnect

1. Open Settings → Connected Accounts in ThinQr
2. Click Disconnect next to your Google Business Profile
3. ThinQr revokes its access via the Google OAuth revoke endpoint and deletes all stored Google data within 30 days

You can also revoke access directly on Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

What we store and for how long

• Encrypted OAuth access and refresh tokens (required for the integration to keep working — never shared)
• Reviews and your replies, linked to your tenant only
• Daily performance metrics (profile views, calls, directions, website clicks, search queries, photo views)
• Post history (drafts, approvals, publish timestamps)

All Google data is scoped to your company via row-level security. On disconnection or account closure, all stored Google data is deleted within 30 days.

Compliance

ThinQr's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google data for advertising or for training AI models. We never sell or share Google data with third parties.
